Hey guys! Today we’re reviewing Convert Kit – is it worth is? Is it the email automation software for you? While I love, love, LOVE, Active Campaign, a lot of people have asked me about Convert Kit, so it’s only fair to give it a try as well.
First off, Convert Kit and Active Campaign are GREAT software (sorry AWeber and MailChimp). Using Convert Kit, I can definitely say it’s the simplest email automation software to use (that also doesn’t suck).
With Convert Kit you can easily make forms, pop-ups, and landing pages. They also provide templates, while they don’t have a ton of options, that’s alright, because their bread and butter’ is forms. While this is their greatest asset, in this video we’ll talk more on email automation (sorry!).
What I like about Convert Kit is their automations are well laid out and just so simple to navigate through. We register our initial step that start the automation, and then we can just add from there. We can add tags, triggers, events, actions and conditions – filter people into sequences based on their actions, clicks, who they are, and more!
Versus Active Campaign, I’d say Active Campaign is more complicated and has more options BUT you have the ability to see how your email list responds to your emails like what they clicked, when they opened, how they responded, and just a little more extra features like sending out during a certain time zone.
Overall, it’s a simple email platform for people just starting out and don’t really have that many things to do. It’s a reliable email service that does exactly what it needs to do, and I’d definitely recommend it if that’s what you need!
